Pre School
A very warm welcome to Little Crickets at Highfields Academy, Nantwich.
Established in 1966 and merging with Highfields Academy in 2017, Little Crickets has a wealth of experience working within the EYFS framework, whilst providing a safe, stimulating and caring learning environment for your child to flourish in.
We are committed to providing our children with the best possible start to their Early Years journey in our warm and welcoming setting. They are supported through their pre-school journey by our experienced and enthusiastic team of practitioners and support staff.
Whilst our children will always be our VIP’s, we recognise the importance of a positive and successful pre-school experience for the whole family.
Our ethos is to provide the best of both worlds for our children – to provide a solid academic foundation for their journey ahead and to ensure your that your little one has the best possible fun learning through play, building confidence and resilience and making friends with their peers in our ‘home from home’ environment. Every day is different and full of fun.
Our purpose built setting allows us to offer two large, separate play areas. Our Caterpillar Room for our 2 and early 3 year olds and our Butterfly Room for our older 3 and 4 year olds. Both rooms benefit from direct access to our large outdoor play area.
As we are fortunate to be situated in fabulous grounds, physical development is promoted through much outdoor play and exploration of the playgrounds, adventure areas and our enclosed woods, perfect for Forest School and nature walks.
Having been part of the community for over 50 years, each year we see our pupils grow and develop into the amazing individuals they become. We feel it is a privilege to be part of that journey.
We would love to support your little one as they begin their new adventure into early years provision.
If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01270 814570 or [email protected] and we will be delighted to tell you about our setting.
