Welcome to Highfields Academy & Nursery, Nantwich

Established in 1966 and proudly merging with Highfields Academy in 2017, our nursery has decades of experience in providing high-quality early years education within the EYFS framework. We offer a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where your child can learn, grow, and flourish.

At Highfields, we are dedicated to giving children the very best start to their early years journey. In our warm and welcoming setting, they are guided by our experienced and enthusiastic team of practitioners and support staff, ensuring they feel secure, supported, and inspired every step of the way.

While our children will always be our VIPs, we understand that a positive and enriching preschool experience is important for the whole family.

Our ethos is to provide the best of both worlds—building a strong academic foundation while ensuring that learning is fun, engaging, and play-based. We focus on developing confidence, resilience, and friendships in a ‘home from home’ environment where every day is an exciting new adventure.

Our purpose-built nursery features two spacious play areas:

• Caterpillar Room for our 2 and early 3-year-olds

• Butterfly Room for our older 3 and 4-year-olds

Both rooms offer direct access to our large outdoor play area, allowing children to explore, play and learn in a natural setting.

Set within beautiful grounds, we make full use of our outdoor spaces to support physical development and curiosity. From playgrounds and adventure areas to our enclosed woods, children have the perfect setting for Forest School activities and nature walks.
